Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a Lebanese/British lawyer, human rights advocate and philanthropist who is charitable. An alumni of Oxford University and New York University School of Law her lengthy and successful professional career in the field of human rights and international law has won her international recognition. The clients she has worked with have been numerous nation states, including the state of Armenia fighting for recognition of the Armenian Genocide by the Turkish government. Amal Clooney became engaged to and married American actor George Clooney in 2014 instantly becoming a household name in pop culture. In the past, she had been known for her success in representing her clients in court and was well-known.
